Last night was the ROH 17th Anniversary pay-per-view and a new match was announced for G1 Supercard.

So rapper Mega Ran came out to debut a new song he wrote about the upcoming G1 Supercard show and he was inturrupted by Bully Ray. At first, he and his partner did not notice that Bully was out there until be threw a chair into the ring. Bully got in the ring and ran down Mega Ran saying he did not like rap music and Mega Ran stole his name from Mega Man.

Bully Ray would eventually kick Mega Ran and his partner out of the ring. Bully went on to talk about his history in Madison Square Garde. Talked about all the years he wrestled there, wrestled there for championships and headlined. He stated that no one else in ROH or New Japan that can say they even wrestled in MSG. Yet Bully is a little wrong as there are some former WWE wrestlers in ROH who have wrestled in MSG.

Regardless, Bully would go on the state that he will be holding an open challenge to face him at MSG in a New York Street Fight. Bully stated the following,

“Open challenge, anybody in the entire wrestling business. Anybody, I don’t care what company you’re in. I don’t care if you’re currently wrestling, retired, anybody. New York City street fight. Me versus you and you know exactly who I’m talking about, because I know you’re watching. And I know that it’s eatin’ you alive that I can get the better of you. I’ll see you in the garden, punk.”

This has led to a lot of people online asking if he was referencing CM Punk and if that is who Bully could face at G1 Supercard. We don’t think that is the case. He surely did his job correctly with everything he said to make people think that and it will be interesting to see who actually accepts the open challenge on April 6th.

G1 Supercard comes to us on April 6th from Madison Square Garden in New York live on HonorClub, New Japan World, Fite TV, and pay-per-view.
