After running SummerSlam in Brooklyn, New York for the past four years WWE announced that the 2019 SummerSlam will be taking place north of the border from the Scotiabank Bank arena in Toronto, Canada. With that today the pre-sale tickets went on sale with the general admission tickets going on sale Friday.

Pro Wrestling Unlimited has learned that 13,000 tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday for the August 11th event. According to the SummerSlam listing on Ticketmaster it notes that capacity for the event is 18,043. We were told that only a few thousand tickets are available for SummerSlam in the pre-sale. If you go off of this info it looks like only roughly 5,000 tickets are available for the pre-sale.

Over the last four years with SummerSlam taking place in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, they have had reported attendance numbers between 15,700 and 16,100. Maybe we can see SummerSlam in Toronto outsell SummerSlam in New York.

Also NXT Takeover, Monday Night RAW and Smackdown Live will be taking place in the Scotiabank Arena accompanying SummerSlam and we don’t know at this time if the same amount of tickets will be available for those show or if they will set up those events with fewer people in attendance.

As of this afternoon, it looks like the pre-sale for SummerSlam itself is going well as Ticketmaster lists only single seat tickets left. Meaning only seats by themselves are still available in the pre-sale and you can not buy multiple seats together until the general admission tickets go on sale Friday. Also, Ticketmaster does not show many tickets at all available still in the pre-sale.
