Cody To Miss Two To Three Months Of Action Following SurgeryJanuary 31, 2019
Last November had what they call in the wrestling business an out of nowhere injury doing the basic of things in the ring.
Last November while still working for Ring of Honor Cody was working a tag team match and was running the rope when he felt something pop in his knee. Cody would end up missing a number of shows because of the knee injury before learning who would eventually need to undergo surgery. Cody who knew he would miss a few months with the surgery agreed to work Final Battle for Ring of Honor and WrestleKingdom for New Japan Pro Wrestling before undergoing said surgery.
According to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he reports that Cody will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on February 12 in Atlanta. Cody will be kept out of the ring for two to three months following the surgery. With that Cody is not scheduled to work any match until Double or Nothing in May.
As far as Double or Nothing goes, ticket information will be announced on February 7 and as far as matches, none have been announced so far.
