Cody & The Young Bucks Reportedly Turns Down Big Money Offer From WWE

December 20, 2018 Off By Tim Jarrell

Cody and The Young Bucks confirmed this week that they are done with Ring of Honor and last weekend was their last contracted dates with the company. Now everyone is focused on figuring out what they will do next and exactly what will ‘All Elite Wrestling’ be.

According to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that all three Cody and The Bucks turned down multi-years over 7 figure deals by the WWE. Meltzer would also state that an offer of this size would not have been conceivable a year ago. Actually, the offer would not have even been thought of before ALL IN happened and considered a success.

With them turning down such a big offer, one would just assume these men have a lot of faith in what they are going to do next. They are going to have a lot of things against them presumably at first by starting a new company. They need to get a decent talent roster. We basically know Hangman Page, Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian along with Christopher Daniels should be joining them. Also, they need a good TV deal or even a possible and viable streaming deal at te inception.

The next month or so will be very interesting to see what they do next and what they announce as far as their future plans.
