Breaking News: Hideo Itami & TJP Released By WWE

Two more superstars have been released by WWE.

Earlier today we learned that WWE let Hall of Famer Arn Anderson go, plus they granted Tye Dillinger his release. Now we have learned Hideo Itami and former Cruiserweight Champion TJP has been released as well.

As far as Itami goes, it was reported a few weeks back Itami had asked for his release. Many felt Itami would get his release to go back to Japan and WWE even posted a somewhat ‘goodbye’ video for him as well. WWE stated the following,

WWE has come to terms on the release of Kenta Kobayashi (Hideo Itami).

With TJP, this release actually came as a surpriseĀ as we had not heard anything regarding him leaving or asking for his release. WWE stated the following,

WWE has come to terms on the release of Theodore Perkins (TJP).

With all of this considering they do say things happen in threes, so with three superstars released today, this could be it. Yet as we know anything could happen and more releases could be possible.
