All Elite Wrestling Announced & Everything We KnowJanuary 2, 2019 Off By Tim Jarrell
The moment we moved into 2019 we also got the official announcement of All Elite Wrestling.
All Elite Wrestling is the brainchild of three men. Cody and The Young Bucks did something in 2018 that no one thought was possible with ALL IN. When the announcement was officially made on Being The Elite we did not learn a lot about what AEW is going to be. We knew the logo and that the next show will be called ‘Double or Nothing’.
As this main announcement came out also did a Wrestling Observer Radio where Dave Meltzer dropped more knowledge on the situation. Meltzer would go on to state that Tony Kahn (co-owner of Jacksonville Jaguars) will be the head of the company, the president. Multi-year contracts are being offered and Cody along with a few have signed on with the company. As of midnight on January 1st The Young Bucks had not yet officially signed with the company. As far as TV they reportedly have multiple TV deals on the table.
Pertaining to ‘Double or Nothing’, a rally to announce more for the show will take place on Tuesday, January 8th at the TIAA Bank Stadium. Cody, Brandi, The Young Bucks, Hangman, and SCU are all announced to be on hand. As far when the show will take place, it is rumored that the show will take place in the spring most likely in May.

Finally, it was revealed that Cody and the Young Bucks will serve as Executive Vice Presidents of the company. Cody is also rumored to serve as Executive Producer of TV and live event with the Young Bucks severing as the head bookers. Other members of the Elite, as well as SCU members, may serve as backstage producers. I think have Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian in that role is great because of their experience in the industry and they have worked in those roles with Ring of Honor.
